Nathaniel Durant

Nathaniel (Nat) Durant is a 2000 graduate of Xavier University of Cincinnati, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and holds a master’s degree from Webster University in Information Technology Management. He received his commission through the Army ROTC program on May 12, 2000. 

Some of Nat’s military assignments include a combat tour as a tank company Executive Officer (XO) in Iraq supporting the Global War on Terrorism. US Army North, where he was assigned as a Simulations Operations Officer in the G7 Modeling and Simulations division.  There he focused on providing simulations support and exercise planning for US Army title 10 forces in the Defense Support for Civil Authorities (DSCA) environment.  From USARNORTH, Nat was assigned to the Joint Multinational Simulations Center (JMSC) at Grafenwoehr Germany as the Deputy for the Models and Simulations Division supporting exercise planning with our NATO Allies and Partners in the EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).  Next was an assignment at the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Center (IAMDC) and the Air Warfare Center (AWC) in the United Arab Emirates where he served as the lead Simulations planner.  Nat’s final military assignment was at USARCENT where he served as the Exercise Chief focused on Interoperability.

Nat’s military education includes the Armor Officers Basic Course, the Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, the Armor Officer Captains Career Course, the Cavalry Leaders Course, the Simulations Operations Course, and Command and General Staff College (CGSC).
